All of a sudden Tia came running to the room, took a spare pant and underwear and ran past. It happened so quickly that I did not get the time to understand what was going on. I followed her. There she was watching the TV and a pool of water and near it were her wet pants and underwear. I was furious, I asked her, “now that you are growing you have started doing all these stuff which you had not done earlier?”
She just had one line answer, “No Mamma! You see I was crying that time and it just slipped by”

What is a Parachute?
I thought let me play the guessing game with Tia, now that she is three and has her own set of imaginations. I ask her meanings of words, and she gives her all funny answers.
The first word that I asked was Parachute. I asked her “Tia, what is a parachute?” And trust me children will definitely give you some funny and yes! smart answers.
Well! Regarding the answer that I got was……. Well decide it for yourself.
She answered, “it means PARROT-SHOO”

Where are My tears
Children can be really funny at times. I realize each moment with Tia. Few minutes ago she was howling to go with her aunt outside. But then she could not take her along, however, I switched on Tom and Jerry on the TV to divert her attention. For a moment, she was quiet but then again all of a sudden she started howling. Guess the question, “Mama where are my tears?” I said, “it’s all gone, dried, because you are not crying now.”
“What! They are gone, bring it back, bring back my tears,” she is still howling as I am typing this.

Height of Innocence
A child is always a child, innocent and so pure. Even amidst their mischief, innocence sparkles like a treasure chest.
Tia’s favorite bedtime game is hiding under the quilt and then when her father enters the room, the pretend game begins.....Then, I ask her father to check out if Tia is in the other room. By the way, the interesting point, when her father asks “Where’s Tia?” It is always she who answers, “Tia is not here.” The enjoyment she derives from this game is immense.
The other day too the game was on, the only thing was I was a little tired. She yelled, “Mamma, why don’t you tell father that I am not here” she kept continuing. “Tell deuta (father) I am not here.” How innocent children can be.

The Broom
Tia comes in with a broom, kick starts it several times, and then she says, "why can’t I fly the broom."
She tries it again, continuously trying to kick start, “Oh ho! It’s not happening! Why is it not happening Ma?”

And the Story Continues…..
Remember few months back, I had mentioned in my blog about Tia pointing towards the photograph and asking “Where is Tia here?”
Now that she is grown up, so have her demands, the other day she was quite angry on me (Without reason of course). She yelled and screamed then wait, all of a sudden she was back to the photograph topic again. “Where did you two go without me? Why am I not there in the photograph?” Now there, once again! the trick was out her sleeve. She yelled and screamed again until I pacified her saying, “Ok! Do not worry very soon I will paste your picture there, is that fine?”
She did not say anything but I know one day she will pop out the question again. Till next time… Keep reading and yes commenting.

My Angel
Tia is surely growing up to be a little angel. No doubt, she drives me up the wall but sure at the same time gives me so many reasons to smile.
Everyday I bring her back from school! (That is another set of battle each day) everyday she has different reason not to climb the stairs.
Moreover, now that she is grown, picking her up is no easy task for me. However, when she sees her father, then there is no excuse for him, he has to pick her up.
Of late, she must have realized that mummy cannot pick her so she never forces herself on me. Nevertheless, yes one phrase she definitely utters, “I am so tired”
When I offer to pick her up she will say, “You will get tired na maamma” (U cannot imagine my emotions then)
The other day Tia was not well, still I thought let me take her out for sometime so that she feels better.
So we went for sometime, then again while climbing up home, I picked her up. In spite of her fever, she still said in a feverish, feeble tone, “Mamma, you will get tired na”
I got enough strength to carry her all the way up.This is when I feel, how can anyone refuse to be sad with daughters?
They are angels!!!
